A big well done to our U10 boys for a great day out last weeken in the Aylward festival of hurling in Ballyhale.

Our boys put on a great show of skill and determination from start to finish in round one of the games against Graigue Ballycallan and Kilmacow.

The boys progressed on into the Eugene Aylward Shield where they had wins over Slieverue & Lisdowney.

After topping our group, it was fantastic to see the boys to reach the Shield Final.

The boys produced their best performance of the year so far against a strong John Lockes team with some great goals and points.

Both teams battled hard with some great blocks, hooking and passing. But unfortunately luck didn’t go our way, and John Lockes ran out worthy winners with only a goal between the sides.
 
It was a brilliant team effort of hurling and well done all. And thanks to the coaches and all parents for their attendance to support the boys.
