Piltown welcomed neighbours Carrickshock to Piltown on Wednesday evening in the last Round of the minor league.

It was a tight and well contested first half with the home side shading it by 3 points at the break 1-13 to 1-10

Second half started fast and the visitors looked for a fast start but Piltown backs stood strong with a couple of great last ditch hooks and blocks.
The second half never dipped in intensity but Carrickshock just pipped our lads with the last point just as on full time winning by a point 2-21 to 1-23.
